3D Laser Scanning
EnTech has extensive experience in professional implementation of 3D laser scanning technology. 3D laser scanning coupled with BIM helps the project team to capture as-is condition of existing facilities and coordinate it with new design or renovation. 2D to 3D BIM Conversion
EnTech offers 2D to 3D conversion services. We take the drawings set, either in paper or electronic format, and develop the corresponding 3D model at the required level of detail. Digitizing as-built records of the existing facilities presents enormous opportunities to the owner for improvement in space management, renovation planning, and maintenance operations as well as contractors for construction. We provide the model in different formats and software platforms (e.g. Revit, ArchiCAD, Tekla, Microstation) that suits project needs and useful for project team.
EnTech BIM Team provides 4D/5D modeling services. 4D incorporates the time factor by linking the construction schedule to the building information model. Using graphical representation to understand time-based processes can help to foresee conflicts and study alternative options. The fifth dimension (5D) is cost; a 5D estimate provides a construction cost estimate through material quantities that are automatically generated from the data within the model. 4D/5D modeling is a great solution for complex site logistics, installation phasing visualization, and cost estimating.
EnTech has strong capabilities and experience in developing 3D as-built models from point cloud data either in CAD or BIM based on client’s need and requirements. The Scan-to-BIM process starts with scanning operation in the field, followed by point cloud data processing in the office. As-built model is created based on the registered, and cleaned point cloud data. Depending on the client's needs and requirements, the final deliverable could be in different formats.
The application of Construction Operation Building Information Exchange (COBie) to support operation of the built structure after construction is an integral part of our project life-cycle BIM services. EnTech can help contractors to provide COBie deliverables to the owner. We also help owners and construction managers to set COBie requirements for contractors that will perform the project. Delivering an as-built BIM to the facilities management team, provides a great source of information to use after the construction, during operation. The facilities management team can extract and transfer the information, which is relevant to their scope of work, to their information systems through COBie. It identifies the data developed during design and construction in the BIM and provides a standard data exchange model to transfer such information to the asset management, operations, and maintenance management systems.
3D Parametric modeling
EnTech 3D parametric modeling services cover a wide range of levels of detail and development, starting with conceptual modeling. EnTech BIM Team helps designers during conceptual design phase to visualize the initial design ideas in 3D environment. Using mass models and generic parametric families, EnTech develops a 3D model that presents the design at its initial phase.
BIM Spatial Coordination
EnTech is well experienced with the process of spatial coordination, also known as clash detection, to detect interferences among different disciplines and resolving the issues in BIM environment. Entech coordinates all sub-contractors that perform different parts of the project and ensures all parties work smoothly.
