Cannon Place Retaining Wall
This $3.86M project involved installation of support system, replacement of the existing retaining wall along the west side of Cannon Place, replacement of 8" distribution water main with hydrants, replacement of existing 12" combine sewer with type B1 manholes, catch basins type I and basins connections, restoration of roadway base and pavement, pavement markings, concrete curbs, sidewalks, and relocation of utilities.

EnTech provided the Public Outreach and Community Liaison. All community concerns regarding safety, parking, noise, MPT, vibration monitoring, soil erosion control, water shut downs etc. were promptly addressed by EnTech staff on this project. Other important issues that were addressed included site safety, MPT, project coordination with City agencies, private utility companies, and schedule compliance.
EnTech’s qualified team lead by the Resident Engineer provided the technical, managerial, and coordination aspects of the project that included review of contract drawings and documents, construction management and inspection to ensure compliance, quantity take offs, preparing the Resident Engineer Dairy, Daily Inspection Reports, reviewing MPT and detours, and oversight of contractor’s daily activities to ensure compliance with safety and pertinent construction specifications.
