RFK Bridge group b Biennial Inspection

This project consisted of the biennial inspection and structural repair of miscellaneous elements of the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge, which was originally built in the 1930s, and requires routine maintenance in order to ensure safe operation.

Project Description

EnTech, as a sub-consultant to Hardesty and Hanover, assisted the team leader in inspecting various elements of the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge. Responsibilities included performing sounding of concrete in designated areas, assessing conditions of bridge elements, writing condition sheets on-site, writing reports based on condition sheets, maintaining accurate data within the master spreadsheet and choosing the most relevant photographs of various bridge elements to use in final condition reports.
