NYC School Construction Authority (NYCSCA)
- Environmental Inspection
- Asbestos, Lead, and PCB Surveys
- Asbestos, Lead, and PCB Abatement
EnTech conducts a visual inspection to verify file search findings and additional bulk samples are collected and XRF readings taken if necessary. When all data is collected, EnTech then compiles Inspection Reports to be submitted to the SCA. EnTech also estimates the time and materials necessary to complete the abatement and reports the data in a letter to the SCA. When final design drawings are received from the SCA IEH division, EnTech verifies previous findings with another site visit and generates Final Inspection Reports for asbestos, lead, mold, and PCBs along with a cost estimate. EnTech then supervises all abatement activities to ensure compliance to SCA protocol and collects air samples as required by such protocol. After a required waiting period, final samples are collected to confirm successful abatement practices and a re-occupancy letter is submitted to the school and the SCA along with the results of the abatement. EnTech has been on site at over 150 schools and has completed survey, design, and/or abatement activities at over 400 project sites.
